Same place, looking back and out further into the rear landscape, one can also see what I say when I mention “planted lushly”. This will get much better in time, but, with the severe Winters here, it will also remain interesting, because of the rocks, even then.

Interesting Rock Mulches, Freshly-Laid In
We used a “fractured rock” look for the mulch here at Nancy’s, a project we recently completed. I love the greyish blue tones of the rocks and their stark sort of appearance, with the variant sizes and shapes. We planted this one up very lushly. I can’t wait to get pics of this a year from now.

Washoe Growth, 6 Months Later
Just a shot, quickly, to illustrate growth in just 6 short months time at the Washoe Valley home of Doug and Louise’s. Look at the right hand side and bear in mind how barren that looked upon planting. I will get better picturews soon, but this is nice, as the next one will be. Manuel gets a chance to be in a pic this way, lol, making him happy.

Plant Growth, One Year Later
Another look, different day, at a project from last year. I will post 3-4 more pics of jobs already done to illustrate the amount of plant growth one can determine in one year. This matches the back yard of the project with the varied colors and sized pavers, Steve and Libby’s place.
